Solutions Specialist (Conversational AI)
Location: USA Required. Boston, MA Area Preferred. Remote.
We’re seeking a driven, skilled, and innovative Solutions Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing a variety of conversational and generative AI solutions—including virtual assistants, chatbots, copilots, and voice-enabled bots. From initial configuration through to project release, you’ll take the lead in understanding customer requirements, crafting intuitive user experiences, and ensuring a high-quality outcome. Key Responsibilities:
Flow & Intent-Based Virtual Assistants
- Design and develop both flow-based (in a low-code, drag and drop modeler) bots and intent-driven bots, enabling them to understand and respond to user inputs seamlessly.
LLM Powered Virtual Assistants:
- Leverage large language models (LLMs) to create advanced bots for tasks like classification, answer generation, and dynamic guidance.
Performance Metrics and Goal Tracking:
- Establish clear goals and performance metrics to monitor and improve bot effectiveness over time.
Conversation Design and Configuration:
- Document use case narratives by outlining main conversation steps, including flow logic such as decisions and branching.
- Initiate customer projects by establishing the foundational framework and configurations.
- Create turn-by-turn conversation flows and ensure sign-off for multi-turn intents.
- Develop conversation designs, including scripts and process flows.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in technical implementations, pre-sales, or consulting at a technology company.
- Self-starter, resourceful, and solutions focused.
- Has a passion for working with customers to drive a great experience
- Has a solid working knowledge of technologies like Javascript, web services, low-code, etc - you don't have to be a coder, but a having general understanding is definitely a plus
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, including user management, endpoint configuration, and content management.
- Preferred, but not required:
*Programming Skills: Citizen Developer level competency (ability to use low code tools and understand some basic scripting, like JavaScript)
*Conversational AI Expertise: Knowledge of classic flow and intent-based bot design.
*Generative AI: Experience with generative AI technologies and their application in conversational flows.
*Experience in developing and integrating voice bots.
*BA/BS in CS, MIS, Engineering, or related field.
