Business Analyst - Conversational AI

Location: Manchester, England (partly remote)

The Role

As a Conversational AI Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering customer solutions using our conversational AI products. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our AI solutions are not only advanced but also tailored to solve real-world business challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Customers, Bot Architects, and technical teams to define and refine project requirements for conversational AI applications.
  • Conduct thorough requirements analysis to understand and document user needs, preferences, and pain points.
  • Translate business requirements into solutions using our low-code platform.
  • Keep up with AI trends such as Generative AI to keep solutions relevant and competitive.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders and internal teams to ensure alignment, understanding and delivery of project goals.
  • Assist in the design of conversational end-user interfaces and agent experiences that are intuitive and engaging.
  • Perform data analysis to monitor usage patterns and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on project status, risks, and outcomes to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders, including internal teams and customers.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field OR BCS Business Analysis Certification
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong preference for expertise in Chatbots, AI, machine learning, or related technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies.
  • Proficiency in process mapping, and use of diagramming methods.
  • A Technical Aptitude with proven ability to work with Low-Code/No-Code tools.
  • Understanding of user experience design and user research techniques.
  • Passion for staying updated on AI technology trends and advancements.
  • Familiarity with basic coding principles (without needing to be a software engineer)
